One hundred years from now
it will not matter
what car I drove,
what kind of house I lived in,
how much money I had in the bank,
Nor what my clothes looked like.
One hundred years from now
it will not matter
what school I attended,
what type of typewritter I used,
how large or small my church.
But the world may be
a little better because...
I was important
in the live of a child.

I love this & have it framed somewhere...still packed from my last move. But I still love it!
ReplyDeleteThis very day, I'm watching my friends's kids...the eldest, who is 9 1/5 now, was one of ei kiddos. Working in the homes with families, supporting them in helping their kid reach development potential..friendships are forged. I love it!
Happy day to you!
